Download the "Symantec AntiVirus Scan Engine" Updates.rn4. Throw the newly downloaded executable file into a folder. Create a shortcut for it.rn5. Right click on the Shortcut and go to properties. Add "/EXTRACT C:/VirusDefs"rnrn-Note: Make sure folder is already made for the virus definitions when you extract them.rnrn6. You can obviously change "C:/VirusDefs" to where ever you want them to extract.rn7. Copy the newly extracted files into the "virusdef" folder in this application.rn8. It should ask you if you want to overwrite some files. Just hit Yes to all.rn9. Now you are updated!
