When 9 first comes to life, he finds himself in a post-apocalyptic world where all humans are gone, and it is only by chance that he discovers a small community of others like him taking refuge from fearsome machines that roam the earth intent on their extinction. Despite being the neophyte of the group, 9 convinces the others that hiding will do them no good. They must take the offensive if they are to survive, and they must discover why the machines want to destroy them in the first place. As they'll soon come to learn, the very future of civilization may depend on them.

9 is a 2009 animated sci-fi/action film directed by Shane Acker and produced by Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov, director of Wanted, and stars Elijah Wood, John C. Reilly, Jennifer Connelly, Crispin Glover, Martin Landau and Christopher Plummer. It is based on Acker's Academy Award-nominated short film of the same name. Although CGI, the movie has a stylized look resembling stop motion. The screenplay was written by Shane Acker, Ben Gluck, and Pamela Pettler, co-writer of Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. Casting for this film was done by Mindy Marin, production design by Robert St. Pierre and Fred Warter, and art direction by Christophe Vacher. The film is rated PG-13 by the MPAA for violence and scary images. In the U.K., the film has been rated 12A by the BBFC for moderate sustained threat.

QUALITY:
THIS BEING A FIRST CAM THERE IS A LOT OF VIDEO NOISE AND THE VIDEO IS DARK. THERE IS ALSO A FLICKER THROUGHOUT. THIS IS THE SAME SOURCE AS THE OTHER ONE BUT WITH ENGLISH AUDIO. THE AUDIO IS KIND OF HOLLOW BUT IS CAN BE UNDERSTOOD. I'LL LET YOU KNOW THAT THERE IS A SLIGHT REPEAT FRAME AT ABOUT THE 38 MINUTE MARK. ALSO IT DOESN'T HAVE THE OPENING AND END CREDITS
