In 1995, Frank Sinatra sold his Rancho Mirage, California compound to Canadian businessman Jim Pattison.
Mr. Pattison kept the Sinatra estate just as "Mr. S" left it, including the full-size train depot that holds
the collection of Lionel trains. TM was granted exclusive rights to film the layout in July 2002.

The layout is reminiscent of Lionel's legendary 1949 showroom layout. Mr. Sinatra duplicated the famous two-level
station scene and also has a dog bone-shaped upper level. The action includes trains from all three eras of
Lionel production plus the museum-quality setting of the room.
