Written and directed by former Shock-O-Rama and Seduction Cinema regular Terry M. West (Satan’s School for Lust, Play-Mate of the Apes. According to Monsters at Play, the film was "shot on 16mm (the indie film format of choice), and has apparently undergone some digital post work, desaturating colors to enhance the tomblike, gothic look of the location (a super-cool old mansion in upstate New York, originally built as a public library). They have also digitally aged the film, sorta like Tarantino's "Grindhouse", but without the same results.

Plot:
At the turn of the century a notorious occultist named Alfred Fischer conjures up a brothel full of ravenous demons in a bizare ritual. Taking the form of beautiful women, the beasts desire a steady diet of fresh prey that only a human servant can provide.
Almost a century after Fischer meets his mysterious end a team of para-psychologists investigate his manor for signs of restless spirits. In no time they are besieged by sexy demons, a mad man with a secret past, and a horde of slaughtering zombies.

Review:
"In many ways the film rises above its pedestrian plot, as West layers on the atmosphere and gore and uses every trick in his director’s book to give the film a surprising amount of suspense. Flesh for the Beast is entertaining, and there are scenes that will disturb, scenes that will scare and scenes that will turn the stomach. West knows how to pour on the blood and guts (in some cases, literally), and although this is hardly a big-budget film, the effects are important, emphasized accordingly, and well done.

But the formula that no doubt brought West to Media Blasters’ attention proves his Achilles’ heel, as the torn flesh all too often gives way to the jiggling kind, and the many sex scenes derail any momentum the horror aspects can build.

That is not to say the sex is completely unnecessary, as the scenes do set up many of the film’s gory kills. But West doesn’t always seem sure what kind of film he wants to make, and the shame of it is, Flesh could have been a truly scary, memorable film if the bumping and grinding had been de-emphasized and the film played as more of a straight horror picture.

...Ultimately, though, West, with help from Jones and Scarlett, overcomes the flaws in his own script and makes Flesh for the Beast an entertaining “midnight movie.” And that, no doubt, is exactly what Media Blasters was looking for from him." - Horror Talk
