This much anticipated follow-up album is a unique selection of tracks from the legendary Live Lounge sessions on Jo Whiley's lunchtime show on BBC Radio 1, which has a weekly reach of 4.9 million listeners. The best bands in the world today, including Kaiser Chiefs, The Fratellis, Gossip, Lily Allen and more, have visited Jo's studio at the BBC to record one original song and one cover. The tracks are live and stripped down, and show the true quality of the musicianship, and the craft of the song.

As with last year the album is a combination of alternative versions of band classics plus unique cover versions recorded live in BBC Maida Vale. There are versions of 9 #1 tracks, and this year covers include Keane doing 'Dirrtylicious' (a mix of Christina & Destiny?s Child!), Biffy Clyro covering 'Umbrella' and Avril Lavigne reworking 'The Scientist'.
