Unpack all the Rars.
Mount the Image in Daemon Tools, or any other Virtual DVD/CD mounting tool, and install the game.
No Serial is needed.
After you've installed the game install the Mod Manager.
De-activated all included mods supplied with the Mod Manager.
These will get you banned from most servers when they are still active while you go online to play.
Assiosiate the included Mod(s) with the Mod Manager, or use the Mod Manager to open the included Mod(s),
and play online on one of these three servers.
Before activating any of the included mods from this Torrent install SDK1.3 first.
SDK is an unofficial Patch for Freelancer and all three included Mods need SDK installed before they can be activated.

2112v4Client.zip.flmod is for the VOID and is mandatory if you want to play online there.
fluaddon.flmod is for the Freelancer Universe and is an optional mod to play there.
hc_client_mod_v291.zip.flmod is for the Hamburg City server and is an optional mod to play there.

The FLIDchanger is used to use more than one user account with one user account.
When you start Multiplayer the first time it will generate an ID number.
With FLIDchanger you can swap between several ID's without needing to switch user accounts.
And you can use it to connect to your favourite server via LAN instead of using the global server.

Another way to connect via LAN instead of using the global server is making a small .BAT with this line in it.
Freelancer.exe -s(IP):2302
I've included 3 BAT files with the right IP's. Copy the Bat(s) into the Install/Freelancer/Exe dir and by one
double-click on the BAT it'll start Freelancer with the IP loaded into the LAN option of the Multiplayer.

Hamburg City IP : 89.106.85.118 (HC.bat)

flconfigdatabase.zip contains an update of the GFX-cards supported by Freelancer.
Make a back-up of your original flconfigdatabase.txt found in the Install/Freelancer/Exe dir and then
put the flconfigdatabase.txt inside the Zip there.
