Though Sepultura is the first name that comes to mind when thinking of eighties Brazilian thrash bands, several other bands from the area sprouted up around that same time and had successful careers, though staying home in South America for the most part. Dorsal Atlantica and Overdose were two such bands, and Korzus is another. Their style is raw but effective thrash, along the lines of their aforementioned compatriots, and after recording steadily in the late eighties and sporadically since, are still going strong.
