For those of us that have two monitors connected to a single computer, this program is for you. Realtime Soft's UltraMon software offers a lot of neat functions to organize your two desktops, and move windows between monitors with ease.
Ultramon is a program developed by Realtime Soft. It works on Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. The release notes say that it can support up to 10 monitors! However, with my setup I was only able to use it with 2 monitors.

Ultramon is great! It allows you to have two start bars on both monitors. Without Ultramon, you probably find your start bar cluttered with lots of programs. If you want to navigate through them fast, you probably open up the wrong program or window many times before you find the right one. Ultramon fixes the problem by spanning the start bar to both monitors. If a program is displayed on the left screen, it will be in the left start bar. If it's on the right screen, it'll be on the right start bar. So it's easy to figure out which window you want to use.

It also adds two buttons to the top of each window by the minimize, restore, and close icons. These two buttons are:

Maxiimze to Desktop - spans the current window to cover both monitors
Move - moves the current window to the other monitor (i.e. if on the right monitor, clicking the button will move the window to the left monitor).

Aside from the spanning window bars and quick buttons. It also allows you customize your desktop. With this program you can put a different wallpaper on each monitor. You can even apply different screen savers. With each setting you change, you can even save them to a profile, which you can change at any time. Another great feature is that you can disable your secondary monitor very quickly.

The program is not without faults though. First, the program seems to have a bit of a problem with the Windows Vista Aero Theme. The Extra two buttons on the top right of your windows will not appear. If you switch to the default theme, the icons will appear. With the Aero theme, the buttons work fine, but are invisible. So as long as you know where to aim, you can use it properly. Second, when you right click the program in the start bar, it changes the bottom of the list to Maximize to Desktop. Normally, this spot would be reserved for the Close function. So, if you're used to Closing using this, it is a bit annoying. However, you can change a setting in the program to remove or reposition these under Options > Window Menu.

Doubles the size of your start bar
Quick buttons to switch programs from monitor to monitor
Configure your Wallpapers and Screen Savers for each monitor manually

Cons:
Small problem with Windows Vista Aero Theme
Annoying placement of move and maximize in the right click menu (but can be repositioned)
