It's Cafe del Mar — it has to be good. Hasn't it?
For the first time ever, I'm not entirely convinced by Cafe Del Mar's annual compilation.
Sure, there have been wobbles before. And there's even been the odd track you can't call chillout.
But the tenth edition of the series feels different. There's no standout track; no Mubai Theme Tune by A R Rahman, or Les Nuits by Nightmares on Wax.
Maybe it's the sudden influx of other chillout compilations which have made this hugely-delayed offering seem so bland, or maybe the loss of former compiler Jose Padilla that has finally hit home.
