De piratenkapitein Vallo zwaait de plak over de Carribische wateren. Vandaag neemt hij een militair schip in, met aan boord de afgevaardigde van de koning, baron Grudo. De boot had bestemming Cobra, een eilandje waar de bevolking onder leiding van El Libre in opstand is gekomen. Grudo moet er de rebellenleider gaan uitschakelen. De piraat ruikt een gouden zaak en gooit het op een akkoordje. Hij zal El Libre in de val lokken en uitleveren op voorwaarde dat hij de buitgemaakte wapens aan de rebellen mag verkopen. De vraag is of de piraat zich aan de afspraak zal houden.
