Freeze Frame is a 2004 British psychological thriller written and
directed by John Simpson and starring comedian Lee Evans in a
dramatic role unlike most of his comedy-orientated work

Production

As well as shaving his head, Evans also shaved off his
eyebrows despite being warned that they may not grow
back to their original state, or even at all. They did indeed
grow back eventually. Although set in modern-day
England, the film has a somewhat dystopian look, as
pointed out by Los Angeles Times critic Kevin Crust in his
review of the film.
The film was shot in Crumlin Road Jail in Belfast Northern
Ireland
