Trama:
Ann, George e il piccolo Georgie sono in cammino verso la loro seconda casa, dove passeranno le vacanze estive. I vicini di casa, Fred e Eva, sono già arrivati e si organizzano per vedersi tutti il giorno dopo per una partita di golf. Mentre suo marito e suo figlio sono al lago per sistemare la barca a vela messa recentemente a nuovo, Ann inizia a preparare la cena. All’improvviso si ritrova faccia a faccia con Peter, un ragazzo estremamente gentile, ospite dei vicini di casa, venuto a chiedere delle uova. Ann si appresta a dargli le uova ma, tutto a un tratto, esita: come ha fatto Peter a entrare in casa? Le cose prendono rapidamente una strana piega e si precipitano verso un’inaspettata esplosione di violenza.
