next generation Solaris Operating System built from the source code
repository at OpenSolaris.org. The release includes the latest tools,
technologies, and platforms to create applications for the
Solaris OS, Java Application Platforms, and Web 2.0.

To quickly determine if your machine is able to run
this version of Solaris Express, run the Sun Device Detection
Tool. This tool is available in "sddtool" directory on the DVD.
Alternately, you can find the most current version of the
Sun Device Detection Tool at the following url :

For Windows systems double-click the jar file to run the program.
