This series was a rare BBC/American co-production that was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic. Filmed and set
in England, the series followed the adventures of a gang of city kids, ages 9 to 16, whose clubhouse was a
London double-decker bus residing in a junkyard. Helped out by their friend Melvin, a grown-up, the kids
found themselves involved in a different adventure each week. Thanks to the era in which it was made, the series
retains a rather mod and groovy feel to it.
