Episode 1:
Following a plot to depose the Emperor Vespasian, Falco sets out to clear up a few loose ends, only to uncover a nest of vipers.
Episode 2:
The Roman Detective continues to investigate the murder of one of the conspirators against the Emperor and finds himself in the fashionable Bay of Neapolis, disguised as a plumber.
Episode 3:
Having found his way to the villa of Helena's ex-father in law in the Bay of Neapolis, Falco is introduced to some old school friends of Helena's. Meanwhile, he discovers he has an unexpected talent as a harp teacher.
Episode 4:
The Roman Detective finds himself at a party thrown by the wealthy and influential Crispus, in a villa once owned by Nero's wife. Helena hears some news which shocks her into leaving early, and Falco receives a nasty surprise.
Episode 5:
The Roman Detective is closing in on his man, but gets rather more than he bargained for from Helena's old school friend Rufus. Meanwhile, Petronius lands himself in serious trouble and Falco gets the blame.
Episode 6:
Falco finally confronts his prey, but a reunion with Helena is bittersweet.
